The PST constructed well-developed, comprehensive lesson plans that outline overall objectives, procedure, assessment techniques and closure. All pieces flow together and provide adequate transition.
Good

Lesson plans contain objectives, procedures, assessments and closure – but some are better developed than others. Transition components may need to be addressed.
Fair

Lesson plans tap into the basic objectives and procedures, but little or no assessment or closure components are included. Some disorganization in the
prepared lesson plan.
Poor

Lesson plan not submitted or does not connect to objectives, procedures, assessments or closure. Structure of lesson plan is difficult to ascertain and is either vague or missing.

Integration of Visual Aids/Technology/Resources

Superior

The PST seamlessly integrates appropriate technology/resources into the lesson. Technology/resources chosen significantly enhance lesson and connect directly to learning objectives. The PST is able to utilize technology/resources with a very high level of proficiency.

Lesson incorporates technology/resources effectively, but are“forced” or awkward in its integration. General connection to overall lesson objectives, but not all are fully defined and/or integrated. The PST demonstrates proficient use of the selected technology/visual aids.

Selected technology/resources are provided, but are external to the overall lesson objectives and structure. Technology /resources do not enhance lesson, and may detract from overall learning objectives. The PST does not demonstrate suitable level of ability with selected technology/resources

The PST presents lesson materials in a very clear and concise manner that focuses on lesson objectives. The PST speaks at an appropriate volume and seeks to reduce or eliminate distractions that may impact student learning.

The PST delivers lesson in an effective and manageable manner. There is a loose connection to learning objectives throughout the lesson. The PST is occasionally difficult to hear and/or understand.
Fair

The PST provides lesson material in a static and not-fully effective manner. Some disconnection regarding lesson objectives and lesson delivery. He/she is frequently difficult to hear or understand.

Lesson delivery is not present or not comprehensible. No connection to lesson topic or objectives is evident.

The PST meets minimum rubric guidelines in most categories. The PST limits efforts to assignment description and guidelines.

expectations.
