Fair Writing is vague; may present details that have no clear relation to the main idea.	Average Presents some details to support main idea.	Good Crafts a solid and informative report; details support main idea.	Excellent Presents an informative report with interesting details, most of which support the main idea.
References	Unsatisfactory No resources listed.	Fair Uses few, if any, research sources.	Average At least a couple of resources are used.	Good Several research resources are used.	Excellent Uses numerous resources.
Use of class time	Unsatisfactory Did not make use of class time. Was unfocused and did not work on project.	Fair Worked on project sparingly. Not always focused.	Average Worked on project, but was easily distracted from assignment.	Good Worked on project in class and was mostly productive	Excellent Used time wisely.
