Focus/Concentration	Excellent Excellent focus; never broke character. Confident and poised Student KNEW what they were doing. They were where they were supposed to be ONSTAGE and were QUIETLY paying attention to others when they were offstage. .	Good Focus wanders and returns. Character is depicted adequately; any break in focus on character was eventually recovered. Student showed SOME evidence of knowing what they were doing. Student MOSTLY QUIETLY payed attention to others when they were offstage.	Fair-Poor Inconsistent focus; broke character several times and had difficulty regaining focus. Audience was present to actor rather than character. Student showed little evidence of following through where they were supposed to be ONSTAGE and what their role/goal was. Student has to be corrected more than twice were QUIETLY paying attention to others when they were offstage.	Poor Lack of focus; broke character completely and could not recover. Student shows little to no evidence of engagement in the group performance. Frequently off task when offstage (on phone, chatting, not staying with group, etc...)
Movement/blocking	Excellent Student expertly uses blocking to enhance and add interest to the piece. Student's movements always reflect purpose.	Good Student's movements rarely reflect purpose. Execution of blocking is inconsistent.	Fair-Poor Student's moves are generally confusing and without purpose. Recollection of blocking is minimal.	Poor No attempt is made to execute blocking that was given. Student moves randomly and without purpose during the scene.
Voice/Diction	Excellent * Student has vocal command. and can be heard all over the Theatre Space * Student has clear phoneme articulation in vocal production.	Good Student is partially audible. Student has SOME clear articulation in vocal production.	Fair-Poor *Student is breathy. And can barely be heard. Student has no phoneme distinction in vocal production.	Poor *Student does not engage in vocal production.
