Create a scene from "Moment to Moment" developed from mask inspiration. Scenes need a clear beginning, middle and ending. Characters must demonstrate the mask performance rules “Clocking the Audience” and “Passing the Focus”. All the character’s movements must be exaggerated physicality and connect with others to create an interesting, active and entertaining scene with purposeful and clear character.

Presentation Rubric

Students read a given script. Working as a team, they determine an approach to the project and take on roles of Director/Lighting Designer, and sound designer. Theatre Makers work off one scene - using annotated script and sound/light cues. Must use - 4 cues from lighting system/ 2 spot cues, 2 light box cues. 4 sound cues - these may be effects or song clips

The students who are in technical theater are quantitatively evaluated in order to track their progress.

Instructions: Using the given theatre terms list, WRITE a SCRIPT (in GOOGLE DRIVE as a DOC.) CHOOSE FIVE words y, come up with a skit/short play, in which you use ALL the words in correct context, as if you are “teaching” them to people who have NO IDEA what you are talking about. You may use almost any setting/plot line, EXCEPT, you may NOT USE any kind of school setting. Use no more than THREE characters. MINIMUM 1.5 pages Maximum, THREE pages. FONT - not more than 12.

Students will perform their pieces for the class, exhibiting control, creativity, and specificity. They will then participate in a discussion.

Students will use classifiers, body shifting, facial expressions, and the correct use of signs to demonstrate a replica of the ABC GUM STORY.

This is the rubric for a Renaissance Drama assignment. Students are assigned a random partner and given a who, what, and where. Students must create a scene based on those circumstances and present them for a grade.

Assessment of a group performance

Drama students will memorize and perform a monologue as a unit assessment.

Using the "Getting Into Character" questions, choose two questions per section (14 questions in all) to sort answers for, in Character, referring to the TEXT. Do as much research as you can, stay in character and be thorough.
