Sewing Machine	10 Student knew how to use the machine and could solve minor sewing machine problems.	8 Student needed help with the machine a few times.	6 Student needed help with the machine on several occasions.	4 Student needed help with the machine on a daily basis.	2 Student needed help with machine threading and use of the machine most of the time.
Cutting	10 Cutting was precise and all notches were present.	8 Cutting was close to cutting line but not precise. Some notches not very clear.	6 Cutting was crooked, somewhat close to cutting line but one - three notches were missing or had to be cut inward.	4 Cutting was very crooked and not close to the cutting line. Had to come into several resources to catch up.	4 Project was finished late. Constantly had to be reminded to stay on task and not waste time. Was unable to work independently. Did not come into resource to catch up.	2 Student wasted class time and project could only be finished if teacher allowed student to work after the due date.
Clean Up	10 Student was helpful in cleaning up their area and putting supplies away. Scissors and rulers were not kept in their tote. Pins were put away and threads were thrown out.	8 Student was helpful in cleaning up but left several threads/pins. Scissors and rulers were not kept in their storage box. Lost or left bobbin in machine once.	6 Student had to be reminded to clean up area and not put scissors/ruler in their storage area.
