iRubric: Pantomime Performance Rubric

Not in character. Facial Expressions, body positions and movements, personality are extremely hard to interpret or aren't present at all.

Sometimes in character. Leading centers and/or other techniques slip in and out. Personality, facial expressions and body movements aren't exaggerated and are hard to interpret.

Actor is mostly in character and demonstrates leading centers and/or other techniques. Shows some personality and emotions. Character, emotions and personality can become muddled from time to time. Exaggerated facial expressions and body movements are mostly there.

Actor becomes a character on stage by using leading centers or other techniques, Shows personality & emotion through exaggerated facial expressions and body movement.

There is no consistency. Actor goes through motions without concern for consistency.

Consistency slips in and out constantly. Objects move or vanish on a regular basis.

Objects and movements are mostly consistent. Some things may appear or disappear but doesn't distract from performance.

Objects and movements were consistent with location and definition throughout the performance. Nothing moves or vanishes.

The scene is extremely difficult to understand. Characters aren't consistent and movements are too vague to understand. The scene is less than 30 seconds long.

The scene can be hard to understand. The storyline may slip in and out and characters don't entirely make sense. The scene is at least 30 seconds long.

Scene is pretty well done with minimal glitches. Characters are mostly there and the storyline is pretty clear. The pantomime is at least 50 seconds long.

Scene is very well done. Characters are easy to get involved with, the storyline is clear. The pantomime is at least 1 minute long.
