Self-Evaluate and Self Revise This rubric measures your ability to create art that follows project instructions and self-evaluate and then self-revise the art using tools such as peer editing, "what if's", etc.

Artwork - Developing Product The quality of the artwork prior to the formal self and peer revision reflections.	Exemplary The artwork prior to critique is well-executed and the student has maximized capabilities and class time. The student followed instructions and has been well-aware of requirements.	Proficient The artwork prior to critique is adequate. The student has used most of class time, followed most instructions and has been aware of requirements.	Needs Improvement The artwork prior to critique is poor. The student has not utilized class time well, has not followed instructions accurately and may be unaware of requirements.
Peer Analysis The details and quality of the peer analysis responses and how it contribute to the improvement of the artwork.	Exemplary The peer review(s) offer thoughtful observations and reasonable ideas of improvements.	Proficient The peer review(s) offer observations and ideas of improvements with some detail.	Needs Improvement The peer review(s) offer very limited observations and ideas of improvements with little detail.
Self-Analysis The details and quality of the self analysis and how it contributes to the improvement of the artwork.	Exemplary The responses to the peer input reflect a strong understanding of the peers' ideas and indicates the student will revise.	Proficient The responses to the peer input reflect a basic understanding of the peers' ideas and indicates the student may make revision.	Needs Improvement The responses to the peer input reflect a little understanding of the peers' ideas and indicates the student will likely make no revisions based on critique.
Artwork - Final Product The quality of the artwork after the formal self and peer revision reflections have been reviewed and the student has been given additional time to resume the artwork.	Exemplary The final artwork reflects the student's best work and it is clear that the student has utilized self and peer revision reflections. The artwork shows in a convincing manner that the student can self-critique and then self-revise.	Proficient The final artwork reflects adequate execution. There are visual indications that the student utilized self and peer revision reflections toward the betterment of the artwork.	Needs Improvement The final artwork reflects poor overall execution. There are little/no visual indications that the student utilized self and peer revision reflections toward the betterment of the artwork.
