The steady beat mistakes DO take away from the overall performance. There are no more than 4-6 hesitations or pauses in the beat.	3 Student MOSTLY sings with a steady beat. The steady beat mistakes do not take away from the overall performance. There are no more than 1-3 hesitations or pauses in the beat.	4 Student ALWAYS sings with a steady beat. It is smooth and free of hesitations or pauses in the beat.
Rhythm	1 Student is NOT ABLE to sing rhythms accurately at this time. Rhythms used: quarter notes, quarter rests 8th notes and 8th rests.	2 Student SOMETIMES sings the rhythms accurately. The rhythmic mistakes DO take away from the overall performance. There are no more than 4-6 hesitations or pauses in the beat.
