Design Your Dream House Design Your Dream House A series of learning activities leading to the skills for designing the floor plan of a house. The assignment begins with drawing your family house floorplan, to modeling that on the computer, to sketching a desired dream house floorplan to modeling it on the computer. Draw House Floorplan Draw all the rooms of your living room or kitchen on the graph paper provided. Show the measurements of all the rooms. Find out what is the scale, or proportion, of your drawing to your actual house.	Poor Gives a basic sketch. Shows little understanding of skills like measuring and figuring out proportions.	Fair Gives a drawing that fits on the graph paper, and that is pleasing to the eye. Shows little understanding of proportions and measuring.	Good Creates a drawing on paper that is measured correctly, pleasing to the eye, complete, and to scale. Shows complete understanding of scale and proportion.
