Examples/Sentences	Good Examples and/or sentences clearly show understanding of definition of literary term.	Fair Examples and/or sentences show some understanding of definition of literary term. May be inomplete.	Poor Examples and/or sentences show little or no understanding of definition of literary term.
Penmanship	Good Very legible. Neatly written or typed in own hand.	Fair Sloppy. May be copy and pasted from the Internet.	Poor May be illegible or copy and pasted from the Internet.
Completion	Good Completed on time. Class time productively used.	Fair Late by one class period (one day). Some class time wasted.	Poor Late by more than one class period. Class time wasted; may have been a disctraction to others.
