Class Participation

Students can earn from 0-10 points per week based on their class participation. The class participation grade is 50% of the overall grade.

Does Not Disrupt 2 pts	0 Points Interrupts others 3 or more times in a class period per week or disrupts learning environment.	1 Point Interrupts others 1-2 times in a class period per week. Asking your neighbor for help does not count as a disruption of others.	2 Points Does not disrupt others during the class period all week.
Completes Assigned Work/Tasks 2 pts	0 Points Rarely or never completes tasks or assignments.	1 Point Attempts to complete assignments to the best of ability.	2 Points Remains on task and completes assignments within the given time.
Participation (listens & answers) 2 pts	0 Points Does not participate or contribute in class.	1 Point Participates or contributes some of the time.	2 Points Willingly participates and contributes in class.
