Content	Excellent Shows an excellent understanding of the topic by making many meaningful contributions to the discussion.	Good Shows a good understanding of the topic by making meaningful contributions to the discussion.	Fair Shows a fair understanding of parts of the topic by making somewhat meaningful contributions to the discussion.	Poor Does not seem to understand the topic very well. Makes no contributions to the discussion or contributions to the discussion are not well thought out or are incorrect or misleading.
Stays on Topic	Excellent Contributions to the discussion help the group focus on the topic.	Good Most contributions to the discussion help the group focus on the topic.	Fair Made no contributions to discussion, but did not distract the group.	Poor Made comments that were not pertinent to the topic or led the group away from the topic.
Listening	Excellent Listens intently. Looks at the speaker. Does not make distracting noises or movements.	Good Listens intently most of the time and is not distracting.	Fair Listens intently most of the time but has one distracting noise or movement.	Poor Often does not appear to be listening or makes distracting noises or movements.
Collaboration	Excellent Almost always listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Tries to keep people working well together.	Good Usually listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Does not cause "waves" in the group.	Fair Often listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group but sometimes is not a good team member.	Poor Rarely listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others in the group. Often is not a good team member.
