Planning & Organization	Poor Off-task for majority of class time; failure to effectively plan and modify or redesign where needed.	Fair The student made reasonable use of class time. The project illustrates intelligent use of original design ideas.	Good Student worked continuously to finish the project. Effective use of class time is evident; demonstrates clear focus and intent throughout the design process.
Design	Poor Design does not follow any principles of design. Lack of many elements or incorrect software used in design. The student's design doesn't show originality.	Fair Design follows some principles of design, although some elements could be used more effectively. The student attempted to create and original and unique design.	Good Design Follows principles of design, Many elements used in design, Correct softwares used. The student's design is unique and original.
Composition	Poor Composition is awkward or weak. Lacks evidence of intention. Composition is awkward with no overlapping shapes. The student's message isn't clearly communicated due to poor composition	Fair Composition clearly shows overlapping, placement, and intention to balance shapes. The student's message or intent may be muddled by composition.	Good A strong composition which addresses complex visual and/or conceptual ideas. The student's message or intent is clearly communicated.
Screen Preperation	Poor Screen incorrectly burnt, screen incorrectly washed out, or MANY pin holes.	Fair Screen correctly burnt, screen semi- washed out. Tapped accordingly and 1-2 Pinholes.	Good Screen correctly burnt, screen FULLY washed out. Tapped accordingly, and all holes plugged.
Print	Poor Very low ink coverage, many smudge marks or many random marks on sub straight.	Fair Inconsistent ink coverage, smudge mark or random mark.	Good Successfully print with no smudge marks, or random marks. Consistent ink coverage.
