Face design	Fair Student did not sculpt human features. Soap doesn't resemble a face and is missing many features and details.	Good Student sculpted a simple face not containing all the required features.	Excellent Student creatively designed a face to sculpt into the bar of soap. The sculpture includes all realistic human features: eyes, nose, mouth, and your choice of an extra feature.
Neatness in Sculpting	Fair Sculpture turned out messy and uneven. Student broke their final piece.	Good Sculpture has a few uneven rough areas, parts could have been smoothed out and worked on more.	Excellent Sculpture is neatly and carefully done with lots of details included. All parts of the sculpture stayed together until the end.
Craftsmanship	Fair Sculpture looks unfinished and not cleaned up in a lot of areas.	Good Some parts of the sculpture look like they weren't fully completed. The sculpture could have been worked on more in some areas.	Excellent Sculpture looks complete and finished. Student paid attention to guidelines and created a sculpture that met all the requirements.
Directions	Fair Student did not have a finished sculpture. Student did not always follow directions.	Good Student didn't follow all the directions, there were some issues with the construction of the sculpture.	Excellent Student followed all directions involving: cleaning, storing project, and instructions creating a completed soap sculpture.
