Composition/Design/Planning 5 pts Level of understanding about instructions and concepts. Attention to details.	Excellent Artwork is planned carefully. The composition is drawn proportionally, all separate parts are visible.	Good Artwork is planned somewhat carefully. The composition is mostly drawn proportionally, but some parts are not in proportion.	Basic Requirements The composition is not planned and the proportions are off.
Craftsmanship/Use of Materials 5 pts Level of using appropriate techniques. Background Techniques.	Excellent The artwork shows outstanding craftsmanship,with clear attention to control of material. Evidence of depth, value contrast, and appropriate textures.	Good The artwork shows good craftmanship, with good attention to control of material. Some evidence of depth, value contrast, and appropriate textures.	Basic Requirements The artwork shows limited craftmanship and little attention to control of material. Limited evidence of depth, value contrast, and appropriate textures.
Craftsmanship/ Use of Materials 5 pts Level of using appropriate techniques.	Excellent A wide range of tints and shades have been mixed and applied to create values on the composition, enhancing the visual effect of a three dimensional composition.	Good Tints and shades have been mixed and applied to create values on the composition.	Basic Requirements Some attempt to mix tints and shades has been done. The overall use of tints and shades does not add to the realism of the composition.
