Grammar	Needs Improvement Student had a hard time expressing their ideas because of multiple grammar mistakes.	Satisfactory Student was able to express their ideas adequately but often displayed inconsistencies with their sentence structure, tenses, prepositions, and/or spelling.	Good Student was able to express their ideas and responses fairly well but still makes some mistakes with their sentence structure, tenses, prepositions and/or spelling.	Excellent Student was able to express their ideas properly in affirmative and negative forms. There were minor mistakes regarding tenses and spelling.
Coherence	Needs Improvement Ideas are extremely limited or simply unclear. There is an evident similarity with expressions in Spanish. Many sentences lack significant meaning.	Satisfactory There is similarity, to some extent, with expressions in Spanish. There are insuffcient details . Repetition of ideas/verbs is noticeable.	Good Most ideas are consistent and have relevant meaning. However, repetition might still be present.	Excellent Ideas have a distinct purpose and meaning. Each one of them is connected to the previous one.

Vocabulary	Needs Improvement Student used a very reduced set of verbs to express their ideas properly. He/she barely used the nouns given by the teacher.	Satisfactory Student was able to use some verbs learned in class but was lacking variety. Repetition is evident.	Good Student utilized verbs and nouns learned in class in an accurate manner for the situation given.	Excellent Student displayed a proper usage of words learned in class. He/she added other words when appropriate.
