Excellent

Smashing technique is successful in distorting the face with possible pushed perspective included. Distortion of the face is convincing and unique. There is clear evidence of risk taking.
Satisfactory

Smashing technique is somewhat successful, but lacking some interest. Little or no pushed perspective is used and minimal risk taking is evidenced.
Poor

The student did the minimum with the distortion technique. The facial distortion is uninteresting and or the artwork was never fully completed. No risk taking is evident.
