Rap Performance Assessment
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Well-Rehearsed/Team Work	Poor Performance was did appear rehearsed. Students are unsure of what to do, not together in their refrain, or giggling/silly throughout.	Fair Performance was somewhat rehearsed with a few mistakes or silliness.	Good Performance was well-rehearsed with little or no mistakes. No giggling or silliness present.
Speaking (Audible)	Poor Speech of rap is very quiet. Audience cannot hear or understand the words of the rap.	Fair Most of the rap is understandable. Student may not be loud enough or clear at times.	Good Speech is clear and loud. Audience can understand the Verses and Refrains easily.
4 Beat Pattern	Poor Rap contains 4 or more phrases that are not spoken in a 4 beat pattern.	Fair Rap is mostly performed in a 4 beat pattern of speech. 2-3 phrases do not follow the pattern.	Good Rap is clearly performed in a 4 beat pattern of speech. One or less mistakes are present.
EC: Props/Costumes	Poor No Props or Costumes added.	Fair Either a Prop or a Costume is Present.	Good Both Props and Costumes are present.
