Spanish III Grammar Presentation

This rubric is designed for a Spanish presentation/ performance assessment in which the students will be presenting a grammar concept from the entire semester. Students will create a presentation demonstrating their understanding of the grammar concept and grammar usage in addition to any previous knowledge they have. Students are being graded both individually and as a group.

1. Grammar Concept 20 %	Poor1-2 Student struggled with explaining, practicing, and reviewing concept	Fair3-5 Students introduced the grammar concept, but had little explanation, practice or reviewed.	Good-6-8 Students somewhat introduced, explained, practiced and reviewed the grammar concept.	Excellent-9-10 Students thoroughly introduced, explained, practiced and reviewed the grammar concept.
3. Grammar 10 %	Poor1-2 Student showed little comprehension of correct grammar use. Communication hindered.	Fair3-5 Student had multiple grammar errors, but still communicated.	Good-6-8 Student had 3-4 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with some effort for correction.	Excellent-9-10 Students had less than 2 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with great effort for correction.
5. Effort and Attitude 20 %	Poor1-2 The student put little to no effort into the skit and the group grade suffered because of attitude.	Fair3-5 The student could have done more to contribute and/or was not showing enthusiasm in front of the class.	Good-6-8 The student could have done more to contribute and/or, however was showing enthusiasm in front of the class.	Excellent-9-10 The student was excited and ready to present with a smile! The group benefited from this member!
7.
