Basic Outlining	Unacceptable Student does not grasp concept of basic shapes and how to create them using basic tools, and how to manipulate/edit shapes to fit various elements on a cell phone	Below Average Student can draw basic shapes, but did not do much manipulation to match shapes to items found on a cell phone. Uses squares instead of rounded rectangles for details	Good Student is able to create basic shapes and manipulate them to to 85% accuracy. Some areas need minor adjustments.	Excellent Student has a strong understanding of basic shapes and how to create and manipulate them to to 100% accuracy. Illustration looks very much like actual product.
Product logos/symbols	Unacceptable Student did not match original font, did not find vector logos.	Below Average Student showed signs of attempting to match fonts but did not succeed. Logos are present, but are not sized, colored, or proportioned correctly	Good Fonts almost match, all logos are present but need minor adjustments. Some symbols cleaner	Excellent All fonts match, all logos are correct. Finding differences between original and re-creation is near impossible.
Realism	Unacceptable Student made no attempt to add any shading, dimension, highlights and shadows, or maintain basic appearance	Below Average Student showed some evidence of realism. Final Composite	Unacceptable Did not follow steps or use proper tools. Quality is unacceptable.	Below Average Student used proper tools, but quality is poor. Reflection needs work and does not look real. Vignette too dark or too light.	Good Student followed proper steps and used proper tools. Photo may be acceptable to show a client for a rough draft idea, but needs work to be ad worthy.	Excellent Final composite looks like a photograph, as if it were shot that way by a professional photographer.
