Posting Comments on the Discussion Board This rubric will be used when we are posting to our Edmodo discussions. Please read the rubric before you post your comments. If you post and then realize you missed something you can edit your Edmodo comment. If you aren't sure how please let me know and I will show you. 	Poor 1 pts	Almost 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Content Have you written so the audience knows the topic of discussion.	Poor Audience can't really tell what you are talking about. The post could apply to other topics and isn't specific to the topic being discussed.	Almost Audience can tell what the topic is about however, you didn't back up your opinion. Your opinion was vague.	Good Written so the audience can tell what the topic was and what you felt about it.
Number of Sentences Each assignment will have a minimum number of sentences.	Poor Less than 3 sentences. Some sentences are incomplete.	Almost Used a complete sentence however, it didn't make sense.	Good Three or more complete sentences.
Correct Spelling Each entry needs to have correct spelling. If you aren't a good speller complete in Word first and copy and paste to the post.	Poor Two or more misspelled words.	Almost One misspelled word.	Good No misspellings.
Correct Punctuation Each sentence needs to begin with a capital and end with a form of punctuation.	Poor Lacking one or more punctuation marks.	Almost Not graded	Good Has all the proper punctuation.
Commenting Each post will have you comment on a peer's post. Comments need to be complete sentences.	Poor Didn't comment to a peer or the comment was an incomplete sentence.	Almost Comment had misspelled words or missing punctuation	Good Commented in a complete sentence.
