Content Requirements	Poor Post does not show consideration for the assignment requirements; does not add to discussion.	Acceptable Post partially meets the content requirements. The post makes relevant statements, but they may not be supported or fully developed. Post are are not considered substantive. Substantive posts require you to be reflective and require critical thinking.	Very Good Posts provide relevant detail to meet content requirements. Post quotes from the readings or relevant materials, but may not expand on the material. The citations/URLs for referenced/ quoted material are usually provided.	Excellent Post provides provide relevant detail. Post quotes from the course material. It adds new material or a critical thinking path to the discussion. Evidence of research on the topic is present. Post expands on the quoted material. The URLs for referenced/quoted material are provided at the bottom of the post.
Quality Requirements	Poor Post does not show consideration for the assignment requirements; does not add to discussion. Posts make undeveloped statements, statements are off topic or only include statements that acknowledge or agree with other students' postings without further substantive information. Standards of Writing	Poor/Non-performance Posts show little or no attention to grammar, sentence structure, punctuation or other writing standards. Materials are not referenced properly; incorrect or no use of of APA style.	Fair Posts have substantial grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation errors. APA style is not consistently used or is used incorrectly.	Good The quality of the writing in posts (spelling, punctuation, and grammar) is appropriate for academic submission with few grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation errors. APA style is used with only a few errors.	Excellent The quality of the posts (spelling, punctuation, and grammar) is appropriate for academic submission with no errors. APA style requirements are always followed and used correctly.
