Choreography Project

Movement Knowledge	ehhhh..... Dancer has no idea what the movement is, he/she obviously follows the other dancers, no sense of timing or direction	niiiiiiiice Dancer knows the movement fairly well. He/she minimally follows the other dancers. Dancer has a fairly good sense of timing & direction.	whoo hoo!!!!! Dancer knows the movement extremely well. He/she doesn't need to follow anyone else. Dancer has a great sense of timing & direction.
Performance Quality	ehhhh..... Dancer is constantly talking and giggling throughout performance.	niiiiiiiice Dancer performs with minimal talking and giggling.	whoo hoo!!!!! Dancer performs with confidence. Dancer does not talk or giggle during performance.
Axial/Locomotor Movement	ehhhh..... The dance uses almost all axial and neglects the locomotor OR almost all locomotor and neglects the axial.	niiiiiiiice The dance tends to be a bit heavy on axial OR locomotor movements but for the most part there is balance.	whoo hoo!!!!! There is a balanced and interesting mixture of axial and locomotor movements used throughout the dance.
Shaping	ehhhh..... no beginning shape/no ending shape	niiiiiiiice Connected begin/end shape. 1 other body shape stillness used throughout the dance.	whoo hoo!!!!! Connected begin/end shape. 2 other body shape stillness(s) used throughout the dance.
Levels	ehhhh..... Group uses 1 level through out entire dance.	niiiiiiiice Group uses the 3 different levels but favors either low, mid or high.	whoo hoo!!!!! Groups uses a wide variety and interesting mix of levels.
Pathways	ehhhh..... Only one pathway is used in the dance.	niiiiiiiice At least 2-3 pathways are used in the dance.	whoo hoo!!!!! An interesting variety of pathways are used in the dance.
Transitions	ehhhh..... There are almost no smooth transitions between movements. It looks as if the movements were just thrown together.	niiiiiiiice Most of the movements transitions smoothly with a few bumps along the way.	whoo hoo!!!!! Dance transitions smoothly from one movement to the next with no bumps.
