Time Management
Excellent
Student's were prepared with their Mise En Place. Everyone read the recipe. Practiced excellent time management and was able to meet the time frame for their lab and had everything cleaned up by the bell.
Good
Student's completed all the steps but did not use their time wisely and Mise en Place was not complete. Some students read the recipe.
Fair
Student's completed most of the tasks, but missed one or more steps. There was no evidence that recipe was read at all. Mise en Place was not recognizable. One student read the recipe.

No Mise en Place shown.Did not complete preparation, such as hand washing, gathering tools and ingredients and setting up equipment. The group did not meet the time requirement at all.No one read the recipe.

The group worked as a team to Mise en Place for the recipe. Everyone had a task and completed it. Students helped each other if needed. Followed all lab rules and procedures. No conflict.

The group did most jobs as a team. Not every task was correctly completed. Some conflict in group. Most tasks were completed.
Fair
The group attempted tasks but got distracted with time mgt or conflict. Teamwork skills were lacking and some individuals were lacking effective teamwork skills.

Students did not work as a team and their lab results were affected by the lack of teamwork.
Cookies
Excellent
Cookie taste was excellent, all the cookies looked exactly the same because of proper scooping. Student used timer to insure correct baking time.
Good
Cookies taste was good, but the sizes were not all standard because of not using the scooper correctly. Student used a timer to insure correct baking time.
Fair
Cookies taste was acceptable, but not the correct size because of not using scooper correctly. Some were overbaked because the pans were not rotated in the oven.
Poor
Cookies were not acceptable because of lack of following recipe and having poor time management skills.
