	Poor 20 pts	Fair 30 pts	Good 40 pts	Excellent 50 pts
Folowing Directions/Understanding	Poor The student did not follow directions and/or it appears that the student did not understand the assignment. The student did not ask for help with the misunderstanding and therefore this is not acceptable to turn in.	Fair The student followed the directions somewhat but left out parts of the instructions that were given because of a lack of understanding or because of laziness.	Good The directions were followed completely but it looks like the understanding is a just shy of being completely there. This still looks very good and is a completed project.	Excellent There is nothing lacking and this project is fantastic!
Craftsmanship/Neatness	Poor The student did not take the time to make this project look neat and presentable. This is not worthy of being turned in or presented.	Fair This is messy and should not be turned in like this. Craftsmanship is about taking time and putting in effort. Laziness is the only reason that craftsmanship is ever lacking in a project. Clean up your act!	Good This looks good but it may have a few parts that are messy or could be cleaner.	Excellent Perfecto....No messy areas and perfect straight clean lines. This is ready for an Art Show!!!
Effort	Poor This looks like no effort was put forth.	Fair This is barely worth turning in. Laziness is not acceptable in my class.	Good Good job-I can tell you worked hard on this.	Excellent You worked your fingers to the bone on this. Way to put out effort for this project. 5 points extra credit for you for the extra effort. WAY TO GO!!!
