Box Step 25 pts 1. Can demonstrate 3 step pattern (step-side-together) 2. Weight on balls of feet 3. Steps in time with the music 4. Not watching feet	20-25 points Demonstrates all variations of the dance correctly.	16-19 points Demonstrates at least two of the variations correctly.	10-15 points Demonstrates at the least the basic step variation correctly.	0-14 points Cannot demonstrate any variations correctly.
Ballroom Dance Position 25 pts 1. Boy has left hand in v, shoulder height. 2. Does no interlock fingers 3. Right hand outside of girl's arm on upper back 4. Straight posture	20-25 points Is able to find and keep the beat during the entire dance.	16-19 points Is able to find and dance to the beat most of the time.	10-15 points Shows understanding timing/rhythm, gets off the beat periodically.	0-14 points Attempts to keep rhythm/timing,but falls off beat/timing-speeds up or falls behind.
Traveling 25 pts 1. Able to adjust stride to partner 2. Able to find correct speed to music 3. Remembering side -together steps 4.
