Pre-Writing Skills	Good Marks on paper are consistent and are legible. Copies name and some words (uses a mature-like grasp when writing)	Fair Makes strokes on paper with beginning legibility. Beginning to copy some letters. (a mature grasp is inconsistent)	Limited Makes simple strokes on paper which often appear as a scribble. (uses a thumb and two-finger grasp)
Scissor Skills	Good Cuts along a straight line without assistance.	Fair Cuts along a straight line. Needs assistance to guide paper.	Limited Cuts along a straight line. Needs hand-over-hand assistance.
