Performance Quality	Needs Work The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to dance piece.	Average The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to demonstrate choreography with effort, energy, proper facial expression and movement dynamics.	Above Average The dancer performs with a good amount of effort, energy, confidence and movement dynamics. Dancer usually has appropriate facial expression.	Outstanding The dancer performs with a great amount of effort, energy, confidence and movement dynamics. Dancer uses appropriate facial expression at all times and exemplifies the vision created within the choreography.

Dancewear/Costume	Needs Work Dancer is not prepared with all necessary rehearsal or costume items including shoes, tights, and hair accessories. Dancer prepares at performance to follow guidelines regarding hair, make-up, jewelry and nail polish (or does not follow some guidelines).	Average Dancer substituted items or does not have all necessary items including shoes, tights, and hair accessories. Dancer prepares at performance to follow guidelines regarding hair, make-up, jewelry and nail polish (or does not follow some guidelines).
