Chosen Art Work 20 pts AP Legacy Project is part of a permanent exhibit exemplifying course work in the AP program. Only work representing the AP program is displayed.	Advanced/Excellent/Strong The artwork chosen is the best example of student's success in the AP program during the course of the year. Art work is either from Concentration or Breadth, done as part of the course. Image is clear and resolution adjusted properly for a clear image.	Good/Proficient The artwork chosen may not be the best example of the student's work done in the AP course during the year. Image resolution may not be the best.	Moderate/Basic The art work chosen was not work done in class as part of the AP course and did not take part in the display.	Weak/Poor No art work was chosen or any attempt to participate in the AP Legacy Display or did not meet the deadline for production or completion of frame display.
Overall "exhibit" 20 pts Neatness, precision, care hanging and preparing work for Art Splash	Advanced/Excellent/Strong The art show display shows advanced or outstanding craftsmanship,with clear attention to detail. Pieces are well balanced and exhibit quality pieces to represent the student as "artist."	Good/Proficient The artwork shows very good or proficient craftmanship, with some attention to detail.	Moderate/Basic The artwork shows average or basic craftmanship and attention to detail. Some artwork may be missing,	Weak/Poor The artwork shows below average to very poor craftmanship and little attention to detail. Carelessness or missing work altogether.
Concentration Statement 20 pts Written commentary about concentration.	Advanced/Excellent/Strong Concentration statement is appropriately modified for the audience, shortened, typed, and displayed in a visible font. Artist's name is clearly visible to audience.	Good/Proficient Concentration statement may not be modified for the audience, shortened, and displayed in a visible font. Artist's name may or may not be clearly visible to audience.	Moderate/Basic Concentration statement and name is not typed, or not clearly visible to audience.	Weak/Poor Concentration statement is missing altogether.
Effort / Participation 20 pts What it takes to finish the project as well as possible, time dedicated to the project inside and/or out of class. Attitude during exhibit planning; willingness to complete set up by the deadline, Attending Opening Reception.	Advanced/Excellent/Strong The student put forth extraordinary effort to complete the project as well as possible; used class time extremely well. Invited and Attended Art Splash Exhibition Evening Reception with pride and ownership. Invited family and friends to Exhibit.	Good/Proficient The student put forth the effort required to complete the project. May have rushed the completion of set up and/or not used class time wisely. Invited and Attended Art Splash Exhibition Evening Reception.	Moderate/Basic The student put forth the effort required to finish the project on time. Occasionally, but not usually, works well with others. Did not attend the opening reception of Art Splash Art Exhibit Evening Reception.	Weak/Poor The student put forth little to no the effort required to finish the project; did not use class time adequately.Frame and installation was late or not on time. Cooperation / Hallway Completion 20 pts What it takes to finish the project after the exhibit. Class time dedicated to the project to completion.	Advanced/Excellent/Strong The student is willing to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up Hallway Project; works very well with others. Remaining frames are painted and installed with craftsmanship to complete Art Hallway after Art Splash.	Good/Proficient The student is usually present in class, but assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects is merely proficient. Good effort in completing the remaining frames are painted and installed with craftsmanship to complete Art Hallway after Art Splash.	Moderate/Basic The student is sometimes willing to complete assigned tasks, attendance after Art Splash affects completion of the Hallway Project. Little effort in completing remaining frames are painted and installed with craftsmanship to complete Art Hallway after Art Splash.	Weak/Poor The student does not show willingness to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Non attendance is evident.
