Demonstration The student started with basic hand wash and cleaned the subungual area first during the hand scrub. Technique The student performed the surgical hand scrub for 2-6 minutes. The students cleaned the following areas: subungual, nail bed, each plane of Finger, dorsal and palm, forearm, 2" above elbow.	Poor The surgical hand scrub was not completed correctly. Did not perform within the 2-6 minute time.	Fair The student did a portion of the hand scrub correctly, with a few mistakes	Good The student did complete the hand scrub correctly and in the correct order
Hands The student kept hands higher than elbows at all times, with finger tips pointed up.
