After viewing a presentation on the cubist movement, and having completed multiple blind contour drawings of their classmates, Art 1 students will create a mixed media portrait using white glue and oil pastel. Emphasis is on contour lines of varying texture, defining and flattening of shapes, effective use of color and and a Cubist sense of reassembled facial features.
