Season lanscapes - 3rd Grade

The students will use their creativity to design landscape representing the season they have been given. They will use their knowledge of fore, middle, and back ground and objects to scale. They will make a crayon resist by outlining all objects with crayon and color with liquid watercolor paints.

Detail has also been given to item scale with large objects in the front and smaller in the back.
Adding Vaues	1 No values were used.	2 Values are sporadic and created without purpose. Unclear knowledge of how to create value with watercolors.	3 Value was created with purpose at least one place. Some understanding of how to create value with watercolors.	4 Many thought out values were made. The student had a good understanding of how to create value with watercolors.
Painting	1 Sloppy. Poor craftsmanship.	2 Messy. Paint outside of the crayon lines and spatters. Craftsmanship needs improvement.	3 Good! Paint is within most of the crayon lines. Craftsmanship is good.	4 Excellent! Paint is inside of all crayon lines! Quality work!
Sketches	1 No preliminary sketches were made. Student had difficulty coming up with own ideas.	2 Only one sketch was completed.	3 Student made two sketches and chose which one he/she liked the best.	4 Student made multiple sketches and chose which one he/she liked the best.
