Student always listens to the instructor, does not interrupt class and stays on task. Student is always extremely respectful to classmates and teacher. Equipment is always handled properly.

Student usually listens to the teacher, does not interrupt class and rarely needs a reminder to get on task. Student is usually respectful towards classmates and/or teacher. Equipment is usually handled properly.
Needs improvement
Student is not listening to the teacher, often disrupts class and needs a reminder to get on task. Student is disrespectful to teacher and classmates. Equipment is not handled properly.
Behavior
Excellent
Student is always engaged in class on a daily basis, and shows no disruptive behavior. Student follows all of the class and school rules.
Good
Student is usually engaged, but can also be distracted or not paying attention. Student may have had to be reminded of the class and school rules
Needs improvement
Student is not engaged or paying attention in class. Student has been disruptive and has broken class or school rules.
Listening
Excellent
The student is always on task, follows directions, does not disrupt the class, asks questions by raising hand, and respectfully listens to teacher directions & requests.
Good
The student is usually on task, asks questions by raising hand, does not disrupt class, respectfully listens to teacher directions & requests.
Needs improvement
The student is easily distracted, off task, fails to follow directions, does not raise hand to ask questions, ignores teacher directions & requests, disrupts class with inappropriate: language, tone and nonverbal behavior.
