Wreath Final Project Christmas/Winter Wreath Final Project Students will demonstrate mastery of floral design concepts (color schemes, size/proportion, harmony/unity, focal points, etc.) in decorating their grapevine wreath base. Elements are clearly represented in the materials arranged on the base.	Beyond Good use of design elements, with little improvements. Elements are mostly clear in the arrangement of materials.	Competent Weak in the application of design elements. Elements are somewhat unclear in the arrangement of materials.	Not Yet Competent Design element application is minimal or not present.
Use of Materials 15 pts Refers to the amount of materials in the piece. Is it too overpowering? Is it too little?	Advanced Exceptional use of materials. There are no too overpowering or scarcity present in the material arrangement.	Beyond Good use of materials. There is minimal overpowerment or scarcity present in the material arrangement.	Competent Weak use of materials. There is a lot of overpowerment or scarcity present in the material arrangement.	Not Yet Competent Material arrangement is not present.
Neatness 15 pts Is the wreath messy with loose ends and pieces or is it coherent and nicely made? This also includes how well materials are fastened to the vase, if there are any hot glue strings, frayed ribbon, etc.	Advanced Wreath is very neat and all elements are neatly fixed to the wreath base.	Beyond Wreath is mostly neat and most elements are neatly fixed to the wreath base.	Competent Wreath has minimal neatness and some/most elements are not neatly fixed to the wreath base.
