Ticket In/ Out the Door Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Participation	Poor No effort has gone into the Ticket. Student makes no effort to answer the question. Example: The student writes, "I don't know." The Ticket was not turned in	Fair Very little effort was made to answer the Ticket question. Student answers are short or off topic.	Good It is evident that effort has gone into the Ticket question. Student response is on topic.
Restate/Make Claim	Poor Student is missing the following: -- restating the question -- providing a claim as their answer.	Fair Student is missing one of the following: -- restating the question -- providing a claim as their answer.	Good Student restated the question and provided a claim as their answer.
Evidence	Poor Student was unable to provide any evidence that is related or able to back up their proposed claim.	Fair Student provided only 1 piece of evidence that is able to back up their proposed claim.	Good Student provided at least 2 pieces of evidence that is able to back up their proposed claim.
Cooperation	Poor Student argues or refused to work when helping or being helped. Student has made little to no effort to solve the question.	Fair Student has minor difficulties getting Ticket completed. Student often asks for teacher help when answer has been read, prompted, etc.	Good Student is able to complete the Ticket. Student accepts or ask for help when needed. Student works independently following all expectations explained.
Sentence Structure	Poor Student made no effort to use capitalization and punctuation.	Fair Student used capitalization nd punctuation on part of the Ticket.	Good Student used capitalization and punctuation through out the whole Ticket.
