Recognising arabic letters	Poor from all 28 letters, he is only able to recognise 5.	Fair out of all 28 letters, they have the ability to recognise 10.	Good They are able to recognise more than half of the overall amount. i.e 20	Exellent they are capable of recognising every letter fluently.
letters in non orderly manner	Poor from all 28 letters, he is only able to recognise 5 random letters.	Fair out of all 28 letters, they have the ability to recognise 10 letters, despite them being misplaced.	Good They are able to recognise more than half of the overall amount. i.e 20 non ordered letters.	Exellent they are capable of recognising every letter fluently in whatever order given.
Awareness of vowels	Poor they will only be able to acknowledge one out of 5 vowels.e.g he may only know fatha out of dhama, kasra, sukoon and shada.	Fair they are only able to recognise 3 out of the 5 vowels mentioned previously.	Good they have the ability to recognise 4 out of the 5 vowels.	Exellent they are capable of confidently recognising all 5 out of 5 vowels without hesitation.
Reading full words	Poor they will only be able to recognise each individual letter, however will not be able to pronounce or read the full word with the vowels.	Fair they have the ability to only read short words, however not implementing the vowel.	Good they are capable of reading all the words given, with the vowels, however take time and effort to do so. and may need some help.	Exellent the are capable of reading all the words, including the vowels, fluently, with no help.
Reading sentences	Poor they are unable of reading full sentences, however may be able to recognise a few short words.	Fair try to read the sentences, however get confused between the vowels, and may need alot of help.	Good they are able to read the sentences with the vowels, however may need time and some assistance to do so.	Exellent they are capable to read all which is given, fluently without hesitation or assistance.
