Clean up	Unsafe/No show Leaves area uncleaned; does not return materials/tools to appropriate places	Minimally Safe Cleans but is not thorough; returns most materials to appropriate place	Safe Thorough in cleaning lab; all materials returned to appropriate place, assists other students or instructor with equipment or tools
Safety Gear	Unsafe/No show Won't wear PPE	Minimally Safe wears safety PPEs but must be reminded to keep them on	Safe Wears PPEs from entry into lab until exit from lab
General Behavior	Unsafe/No show Skips procedural steps; does not read material labels; away from lab bench without purpose, moves too quickly or carelessly around the room; unorganized in use of materials/equipment	Minimally Safe Follows most of procedural steps, sometimes out of order; selectively reads material labels; occasionally away from lab bench without purpose or uses careless movements; somewhat organized in use of materials/equipment	Safe Follows procedural steps accurately; carefully identifies materials by label; moves around lab carefully and with purpose; organizes material/equipment effectively and uses correctly
