Answers all questions.	Poor Questions are answered incompletely or not answered at all.	Fair All questions are answered, but still contain missing words.	Good Every question is answered; each is answered completely.
Uses capital letters where needed.	Poor Not all nouns are properly capitalized.	Fair Some nouns are capitalized.	Good All nouns are capitalized.
Uses correct punctuation.	Poor Not all sentences have periods at the end of them.	Fair Some sentences end with a period.	Good Each sentence is properly ended with a period.
Writes neatly.	Poor Writing is sloppy. There are a lot of erasure marks.	Fair Writing is somewhat neat with few erasure marks.	Good Writing is very neat with almost no erasure marks.
Writes complete sentences.	Poor Sentences are written as phrases.	Fair Sentences are almost completely written, but are missing words.	Good Every sentences is written completely, with a beginning, a middle, and an ending.
