Citing Evidence Student supports his ideas with quotes from the text, when required to do so from the question.	Poor No evidence from the text provided by student.	Fair Student provides some facts, details and quotes to support his/her ideas.	Good Student identifies enough facts, details and quotes to prove answers. Also, the evidence provided is relevant (on topic).
Writing Skills Student uses complete sentences with few errors.	Poor The errors make understanding the response difficult.	Fair Student responds to the question with bullet points or incomplete sentences.	Good Student writes in complete sentences. Also, any errors do not distract from the meaning of the writing.
