Use of Chinese

不太好

I spoke a lot of English, and didn't stop and think whether I could say something in Chinese. I did not refer to the game sheet if there was one.
可以

I used quite a bit of Chinese, but fell back into English sometimes. I made little use of the game sheet if there was one. I did not ask for support or how to say something in Chinese.
很好

I stayed in Chinese at least 95% of the time. I actively used expressions on the game sheet ("your turn", "I win", etc.) or the board. I asked for support if I couldn't figure out how to say something.
Staying on-task

不太好

I was chatting in English about unrelated subjects, doing homework, or doing other things that had little to do with the activity.
可以

I participated in the activity for the most part, but was occasionally distracted by others.
很好

I participated actively in the game or activity.
