Good Writing demonstrates an adequate level of understanding of the topic. There are some mistakes, misconceptions but contains all crucial information.	Needs Improvement Writing demonstrates a lack of understanding of the topic. There are several mistakes, misconceptions or crucial information is left out.
Organization	Excellent The writing is organized in a logical manner. It flows well and is easily understood.	Good The writing is organized in a logical manner. There may be a few spots that do not flow as well as they could but do not make it difficult to understand or read.	Needs Improvement The writing is poorly organized or does not flow well to the point of being a distraction to the reader.
Clarity/Correlation	Excellent Writing clearly expresses the information at a high level and is highly correlated to the project.	Good Writing clearly expresses the information at an adequate level and is adequately correlated to the project.	Needs Improvement Writing does not clearly express the material to the reader. It may or may not be well correlated to the project.
