Narrative Memoir 
After reading examples of literary non-fiction and memoirs, students revised their own memoir. Our major focus is on utilizing two of the techniques we've discussed in conjunction with the memoirs we've studied.

There might be generalizations or a trite hook. Perspective may be inconsistent.There may be a story, but it is not developed.The author writes about an experience but does not stay on topic or does not include details of setting or characters. Ending is lacking.
Below Standards

The beginning is too general and/or hook is cliche. Perspective is inconsistent. There is no story or anecdote. Details aren't included or are irrelevant. Ending is abrupt.
