Ticket In/ Out the Door Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Participation	Poor No effort has gone into the Ticket. Student makes no effort to answer the question. Example: The student writes, "I don't know." The Ticket was not turned in	Fair Very little effort was made to answer the Ticket question. Student answers are short or off topic.	Good It is evident that effort has gone into the Ticket question. Student response is on topic.
Knowledge gained	Poor Student barely explains concepts from question and shows a limited level of knowledge of subject	Fair Student somewhat grasps the topic by providing basic knowledge including one definition or correct response.	Good Student showed a thorough understanding of the material by providing a complete answer with a definition and examples.
Length	Poor Student writes barely a sentence	Fair student writes 2-3 sentances and meets length requirements	Good student writes more than length requirement
Sentence Structure	Poor Student made no effort to use capitalization and punctuation.	Fair Student used capitalization nd punctuation on part of the Ticket.	Good Student used capitalization and punctuation through out the whole Ticket.
