Active Involvement	Excellent Student is constantly engaged in the class activity. Student does not need reminders to stay on task.	Above Average Student is often engaged in the activities. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction.	Average Student is often engaged in the activity. Student needs a reminder to get back on task and can be distracting to teacher and classmates.	Poor Student is not involved with the class activity. Student needs constant reminders to get back on task. Student is distracting to the class as a whole.	Student/Teacher Score
Preparation	Excellent Student is ready with required materials for the class. Student has done all assignments with best effort and is ready for class.	Above Average Student is usually ready with required materials for the class. Student has done assignments and is ready for class.	Average Student often has materials. Student has completed most of outside assignments and is mostly ready for class.	Poor Student did not bring any materials to class and has to borrow everything. Student did no work outside of the classroom and is not ready for class.	Student/Teacher Score
Attendence	Excellent Student is always in class and on time. Student stays for the entire duration of the class time.	Above Average Student attends most classes. Student often stays for the duration of the class time.	Average Student is often in class. Student is close to on time or leaves once for a short emergency (bathroom, drink, nurse).	Poor Student does not come to class or is significantly late. Student leaves the room often for bathroom, drink, or to see the nurse.	Student/Teacher Score
Attitude	Excellent Student is positive about the activities being learned in class and sets the example for students around him/her.	Above Average Student is positive about the activities being done in class.	Average Student is neutral about the unit and projects. Student spreads mixed feelings around the class, both positive and negative.	Poor Student has a negative attitude. Student makes the experience bad for others around him or her.	Student/Teacher Score
