Student acknowledges the lesson taught by the teacher but needs assistance gaining greater understanding of the subject taught in class.

Assignments turned in is either on-time or late, but a majority of mistakes remain wrong or show signs of struggling.

Students may break rules but not as likely.
Improving

Student that have improved; often poor/developing students. Student shows improvement in assignments and doesn't require much assistance. Comprehends lessons taught in class.

Assignments turned in are on-time with less mistakes but shows exciting effort on the student's part.

Student is less likely to break class rules.
Excellent

Student who acknowledges the lessons taught without assistance and understand the assignments.

Assignments turned in are satisfactory with few mistakes and shows effort
