	Good (95%) 10 pts	Fair (85%) 5 pts	Poor (75%) 3 pts	Very Poor (65%) 1 pts
Essay/Outline	Good (95%) You had a strong introduction (thesis), 4 solid arguments, and a powerful conclusion to easily persuade your audience.	Fair (85%) You had a somewhat strong introduction (thesis), 4 arguments, and a conclusion to persuade your audience.	Poor (75%) You did not have a strong introduction (thesis), 4 solid arguments, and/or a powerful conclusion to easily persuade your audience. Your essay was incomplete.	Very Poor (65%) You have 2 or less paragraphs in your essay.
Grammatics	Good (95%) 0-2 spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammatical errors.	Fair (85%) 3-5 spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammatical errors.	Poor (75%) 6- 8 spelling, capitalization, punctuation, or grammatical errors.	Very Poor (65%) 9 or more spelling, capitalization, punctuation, or grammatical errors.
Sources	Good (95%) Works Cited page is in MLA format and 4 or more sources are also used in the essay.	Fair (85%) Works Cited page is in MLA format but 3 sources are used in the essay.	Poor (75%) Works Cited page is in MLA format but 2 sources are used in the essay.	Very Poor (65%) Works Cited is not in MLA format and only one source is used in the essay.
