Interaction with peers	Poor Student does not work cooperatively and/or is off-task even with redirection/prompts from teacher and/or parent	Fair Student needs more than 3 prompts to work cooperatively and is often off-task even with redirection/prompts from teacher and/or parent	Good Student needs 2 or more prompts to work cooperatively and is sometimes off-task even with redirection/prompts from teacher and/or parent	Excellent Student needs 1 prompt or less to work cooperatively and is rarely off-task with redirection/prompts from teacher and/or parent
Sharing	Poor Student will not share with other peers.	Fair Students require several prompts to share with peers. They grab materials from each other.	Good Students share materials after 1 prompt.	Excellent Students share materials without prompting. They encourage each other to share with peers.
Communication	Poor Students do not speak to each other.	Fair Students just repeat what each other say or what the teacher said.	Good Students make eye contact with each other and speak in sentences to each other after the teacher prompts them.	Excellent Students initiate communication right away and speak to each other in sentences.
Engagement	Poor Students refuse to sit together to complete activity.	Fair Students sit together but do not interact within the group. They each want to do their own thing.	Good Group sits together but members make negative comments, faces, or gestures about other group members. They complete the work.	Excellent Group sits together and make no negative comments about group members. They immediately get to work.
