Cutting 15	Good Pattern was cut out carefully. Cut lines are smooth. Obvious care was taken when cutting with front and back pieces line up precisely.	Fair Pattern was cut out. Some jagged spots are visible. Front and back line up	Poor Pattern was cut out, sweveral jagged areas are evident. Front and back pieces do don't line up. some limbs are cut off
Button 10	Good At least one button is sewn on and is secure using the anchor method	Fair At least one button is sewn on but is loose.	Poor No button is used on the monster.
Construction 15	Good Monster was constructed correctly and was successfully executed. Students have secured 3 appliques onto their monster. Knowledge of stitches 15	Good Students has demonstrated knowledge of at least 3 basic hand sewing stitches. Stitches have correct stitch length and width. NO stuffing is visible.	Fair Students used 2 basic stitches in project titches are not always in accurate spots, but still keep the monster together. Stuffing can only be seen in 1 or 2 spots.
