Using Nature as a theme, students will be able to experiment with techniques used for movement and action in a photo (Pan and blur)

f-stops/shutter speeds	Accomplished 4 Student will be able to apply concepts of proper f-stops and shutter speeds: to create usable photographs	Skilled 3 Student will be able to compare and formulate concepts needed to use f-stops and shutter speeds to make usable photos. There may be 1 or 2 errors seen.	Emerging 2 Student will be able to show the proper f-stops and shutter speeds for usable photos but may still need to reference their "cloud pictures" for accuracy.	Limited 1 Students will be able to recall the proper settings for f-stops and shutter speeds for successful images, but still relies on outside help in doing so.
processing	Accomplished 4 Students will be able to apply all concepts of film and photo processing to create pristine final images	Skilled 3 Students will be able to use concepts to complete the steps for usable images in film and photographs. These images may have 1-2 errors, but otherwise are in line with process.	Emerging 2 Students will be able to summarize and follow routine steps to create usable film and photographs. blur	Accomplished 4 Students will be able to connect the use of shutter speed to photo outcome: fast= freeze slow= blurring	Skilled 3 Students will be able to differentiate between shutter speeds to create blur (faster s/s= freeze, slower s/s= blur) Student may have some small issues with capture but concept is still visible.	Emerging 2 Students will be able to indicate the cause and effects of slower s/s v. faster s/s. There may be some issues with the quality of the blur but concept is solidifying.	Limited 1 Students will be able to identify which shutter speed is needed per concept, however the quality is below expectations and will need to be revisited
