Needs Improvement Answer is not fully answered or may be somewhat inaccurate. Some key points are addressed, but not well supported with evidence from the text.	Proficient Answer is complete and accurate. Key points are stated. Evidence from the text is provided to support key points.	Exemplary Answer is comprehensive, complete, and accurate. Key points are clearly stated and well-explained. Key points are well-supported with evidence from the text.
Organization	No Progress The answer is not organized and very difficult to follow.	Needs Improvement Structure/ organization of the answer is not easy to follow. Little or no relationships are drawn between key points and the text evidence.	Proficient Answer is organized and mostly easy to follow. Relationships are drawn between key points and the text evidence, although they may be somewhat unclear.	Exemplary Answer is well organized and easy to follow.
